The life upgrade in the garden is impossible to get. It can't be done. The ceiling is too low to jump over the switch.
The rainbow guys that drop coins should be prevented from spawning right next to the entrance of a room. They also shouldn't spawn at all in boss rooms until the boss is defeated.
